Children's Piano Class
A lot of parents ask me what is the perfect age to begin traditional private lessons.
I am open to starting students as young as 5 years old with the understanding that it is on a trial basis for one month to determine if he or she is ready for regular ongoing piano lessons
Teenagers , Adults and Transfer Students
You are never too old to begin lessons!
That's the beauty of learning piano!
I welcome teenagers who may have had lessons in the past or who have never had any piano.
Transfer students (those who have previously studied with another teacher ) are always welcome to continue their lessons at Cathy's Piano Studio.
Adults who would like to learn piano are always welcomed!
All students at any age will be taught at their own pace to achieve their musical goals.
What you need to know before starting piano
All students need a piano or keyboard with a sustain pedal for practicing at home. I am happy to help assist you if you have any questions regarding where to purchase and piano or keyboard.
